Christmas Lights

We had a pretty busy weekend. We have started deep cleaning our apartment so it will be easier when we move and Ry spend almost the whole day saturday cleaning the windows inside and out. He is so awesome! And I got a bunch of boxes to start packing stuff that we don't need. It is looking like we might have to move in with Ry's parents for a while until we get the house fixed up enough to move in. I can't wait though!! I'm getting more anxious every day now!

I had to take Cole to the doctor, again, on Friday because the poor kid has had pink eye 3 times in the last few weeks. It keeps coming back as soon as we'd stop the medication. And of course, Malia got it too...so it's been real fun around our house! Anyway, so Cole ended up having ear infections in both ears...which explains why he hasn't slept through the night or had a single nap in almost a week. He just screams for hours and doesn't ever give in. My poor baby. At least now we can treat him for the right thing. But the medication they gave him is giving him the runs really bad so he's of course got horrible diaper rash. It never ends, I swear! There's always something!
So Saturday we decided we needed to get out and relax a little bit after our stressful week so we took the kids down town to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square. Malia loved seeing all the different colors of the lights and all the baby Jesus nativities...but it was SO crowded! It only opened or started on Friday night, so it's still pretty crazy. Maybe we should have waited for it to calm down a little before attempting it...but oh well. It was still fun. The kids liked walking around and it was a pretty nice night and who knows how much longer we'll have that nice of weather.
Anyway, if anyone has any cute ideas for decorating (especially in kids rooms) I would love to hear them! We have to decide on paint and carpet in the next couple weeks and I have no fashion sense at all...or I guess decorating sense...so I need all the help I can get!
