Last night we went out looking at houses, again. It seems like a never ending process some time. We always find cute things that are just barely out of our price range. But anyway, my sister-in-law Sheri watched kids for us and then was nice enough to cook dinner for us too! So we all ate up at Ry's parents house, and then we decided to carve our pumpkins with Jeff, Sheri, & Mason. It was a blast! Malia and Mason had fun painting their pumpkins, and we tried to get her to help dig the pumpkin seeds and junk out of the pumpkin, but she didn't like the feel of it too much! it was pretty funny! Cole didn't want anything to do with it either! So mostly Ryan and I carved our pumpkins, and Jeff and Sheri did theirs too. They turned out pretty cute! It is a fun tradition that I think Malia will like more as she gets older...and Cole too! Anyway, here are some fun pics of our pumpkin carving night!
Oh, and I just have to tell a funny story that happened last night on our way home. Jen: Malia we need to get you to bed because you have preschool tomorrow morning. Ryan: You're going to be a wreck! (it was a pretty late night after carving pumpkins!) and then Malia says: I'll just pretend to be a wreck at preschool tomorrow...is that ok mommy? Me and Ryan laughed pretty hard. She's such a funny girl! We gotta love her!

Malia and Mason were concentrating really hard on their projects! It was so cute!!

The kids were kinda scared of the pumpkin 'guts' at first...Malia's faces were cracking us up!! She was so disgusted! She's such a girl!

I am impressed with your pumpkin carving abilities! Ours seem to end up as each having one big hole! OH well. Priceless photos of the pumpkin gut pulling!
I love the carved pumpkins. You guys did a great job. Very impressive! :) I guess maybe I should think about carving pumpkins with my kids...it is that time of year again. :)
don't give us too much credit though! We totally cheated and bought a little carving kit from walmart!!
Fun! Carving pumpkins is the best!
Jen, let me know if you need anything while ry is gone. If you want to drop the kids off for a while to play with our kids or needs someone to go pick something up, or anything else. just let me know.
Fun! Those turned out very good. I don't have the patience to carve pumpkins. I hope you guys find a house soon.
