Ry's back!!

Ry is finally back from his trip! We were so excited to go pick him up at the airport on Thursday night! Malia's face lit up when she saw him walking out and she took off running with the biggest grin on her face! It was so cute! Cole kinda waved, but then went into his shy guy mode for a little while! But he has had a lot of fun playing with his daddy now that he's home! I finally was able to sleep through the night for the first time in a couple weeks so that was nice! Anyway, we are glad to finally have him back!
Ryan took Friday off to try to adjust to the time difference, and just spend some time with us - so we went on a little hike up Bell Canyon. It's a pretty steep hike, but Malia hiked the whole way up by herself...she did so good! She was a little trooper! I had to hold her hand walking down because it's slippery with all that sand and because it's so steep...but we were pretty impressed that she did it herself. They had fun throwing rocks into the reservoir at the top, and feeding the duck that kept begging for food from us! Cole seemed to like his little ride in the backpack carrier - it was our first time using it so we were pretty excited! I unfortunately forgot to bring my camera...but that just gives us an excuse to have to do it again! I think the kids had fun though, and it was a nice day for us!
Trick or Treating last night was fun too and I loved seeing all the kids in their cute costumes! I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
