Crazy weekend

My kids have had a rough weekend! Saturday night Cole was playing with Ryan, who had Cole's doggy, and when Ryan said 'come get your doggy Cole' he grinned and started running toward him. But for some reason whenever we tell Cole to go get something, Malia has to run to it before Cole can get it and snatch it up first. So of course she jumped up to run and grab his doggy...but she jumped up right in front of Cole, and they sort of collided. Right away they both started screaming...and Cole started bleeding, pretty badly actually, from his mouth. So I checked him out, and his upper lip was gushing blood all down his face. His top teeth just about went all the way through his lip...there is a pretty deep and good sized gash inside his mouth from his lip, up to his gums, and down to his teeth. I held pressure on it for about 10 minutes but it would NOT stop bleeding. I was actually on my way out the door to go to my bunko night, and was debating whether or not to take him to the ER. I don't think they could have done stitches anyway because it was inside his mouth, and things heal very quickly in your mouth. Anyway, it finally started to slow down. Poor kid. Now he's got a big fat lip. He can't even drink out of his sippy cup without crying cuz it hurts him. A straw cup works a little better, but he still pulls it away quickly after just tiny sips and licks his lip over and over.
So anyway, after church today, we were going to hurry and drive by a couple houses to see if we liked the area and would want to go look at the house with our realtor, and on the way Malia started complaining that her tummy hurt. She was starting to fall asleep so I thought she would be ok, but she kept holding her tummy and turning in her car seat. Then her eyes opened and she complained her tummy hurt again, then all of a sudden started throwing up all over in our car. I had to roll the windows down so I wouldn't throw up myself. Eeeww...I can't handle puking. Anything else I'm ok with...but I have a very weak stomach. Anyway, Malia was crying I think because it scared her, but mostly because it was all over her and she wanted to get it cleaned up. Poor baby girl! Then later we tried giving her some juice and waited 20 minutes or so to see if she could handle it ok, but she didn't...and threw up again (luckily this time in the toilet). Malia is so cute though. She was bawling and just kept asking for toilet paper to wipe her mouth off each time she threw up. She was so worried about keeping her mouth clean...it was kinda cute! If a puking child can be cute I guess! But she is so sweet, it made me cry to see her doing it. I feel so bad for her. It sucks being sick, but even worse watching my poor baby being sick and not understanding why. So anyway, hopefully she will be better soon! I am exhausted already and it's only been 1 day.
