Cole's favorite chair & updates

I went in to check on Cole today to make sure he was sleeping when it was his nap time and this is how I found him! This is his favorite place now...he hides behind this chair when he poops, when he wants to read books he sits in the corner behind this chair, when we are playing and chasing him that's the first place he goes to hide, etc. And now apparently he likes to sleep there too! It was so cute!

I also haven't posted pictures or been good at posting period...so here's a few pics from the last month or so...

For St Patricks Day I got the idea from my friend Kara to have the kids help me set a trap for th leprechan and this is what Malia came up with! We found the little green plastic hat at the dollar store and she found the pencil and told me to hold it up with the pencil and that the leprechan would bump it when he tried to get the treat we left him and the hat would fall on him and trap him in there! She also made sure we poked a few holes in the top so that he would be able to breathe! Anyway, I found the little cauldron things at the dollar store too (a pack of 10 and I only needed 2 so if you want any let me know!!) and filled them with rolo's to make our little pot of gold that 'Lenny the Leprechan' left for the kids! She had me write a not for him too...I wrote it word for word how Malia asked me to! Anyway, we had green jello and I dyed spaghetti noodles green for dinner...had salad and cucumbers with it...sandwiches with a pickle for lunch, etc...and Malia made sure we all wore green for St. Patty's Day. It was pretty fun!

This was the a couple days ago when it was SOOO nice outside...the kids loved playing outside in the warmer weather. We live close to the airport and get a lot of planes and things flying right over our house. This was when 3 of those huge black hawk type helicopters flew over and Cole covered his ears because it was so loud and watched them for several minutes...and still kept his hands over his ears even after they were long gone! And Malia was totally oblivious in her own little make-believe world. I think she was playing 'snow fairies' or something in this picture!

I found Cole playing 'dress up' in Malia's shoes a while back too. This poor kid is so confused sometimes!! =) Hee hee!

Another one of the kids favorite games lately...laying on the coffee table and looking at each other upside-down.

Some other random cute pics of the kids playing outside:

My hair cut...still don't know how to style it. I've never had short hair in my entire life, so needless to say I'm still in shock and it's been a little traumatic! And depends on the day if I love it or hate it!
