So me and all my sister-in-laws are going to Vegas in the fall and we are trying to decide which hotel to stay in and what shows to see, etc while we are there. We want to stay in a really nice hotel and I've never been there before so I have no idea where to start! Has anyone been or have any info they could share with me about the hotels or attractions? Someone told me a while ago that the Mandalay Bay hotel was not very good because it had very thin walls & could hear all your neighbors, and you couldn't get away from the smoke smell even in your rooms. Right now I'm thinking the Bellagio looks pretty cool or maybe the Venetian...has anyone heard anything about those?
We also are thinking about seeing a Circus So Lei (sp??) show, but then I've heard there are more than one...I have no idea!! Any tips or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Check with Kelli and see what kind of a room she can get you at the Marriott. Other than that I know nothing about Vegas. Have fun!!
You should ask my sister Lindsay. She just went there a couple of months ago with my little sister. When I've gone we have stayed at the Luxor (the pyramid) and it was pretty cool. But Linds went to a few shows, so she would be best to ask.
I wish I were going this weekend with my mom and dad. They get to see Bon Jovi in vegas- so entirely jealous!!!
Talk to Danielle, her and Eric just went a few months ago. Sounds fun!
New York New York is great!! We loved our room there :)
New York New York is cool but can be confusing if you get on the wrong set of elevators. I have heard the Bellagio and the Venetian are wonderful but they are very pricey. If it were me going I would prefer to spend the money on shows they an expensive hotel. I bet the Paris one would be nice also but a little less expensive.
luckily we have our hotel paid for us and have been told we can do whatever hotel we like...no matter what! So we're going all out! I'm so excited!
We stayed at the Paris. It was nice, and the food was wonderful!!
My hubby and I are going again in May and staying at NY/NY. I have also stayed at a couple other places, but when I booked our trip I saw that the Wynn and Encore have pretty good specials right now on their rooms - a little pricier but very nice.
If the show Phantom of the Opera is still there you should definitely go to it - I went in the fall and it was awesome!
