Yard work and my big boys...

When we first moved in, the yard was a total disaster. There was no yard actually, just a field of weeds. So we decided to tear it all out and start over. Which then turned out to be a much bigger project than we thought...We ended up having to do the entire sprinkling system all over and pouring cement, etc. Then finally laying sod. So here are some pictures of our project from start to finish. I'm so glad to finally have a back yard for the kids to play in (now that it's almost winter and we won't be able to anymore!)

Cole got this lawn mower bubble thing from his grandma Hunter for his birthday and it is an understatement to say that he absolutely loves it! The bubbles were gone within about 2 days if that tells you anything about how much he used it! He would scream and cry every time we had to come inside, or even just walking in from the car in the garage, to the house...he'd try to run over and grab it to start going again. It has been so much fun! Last week Ryan was mowing the lawn, and Cole followed him back and forth across the lawn with his big boy lawn mower! He would turn in the exact same spot as Ryan, and stop every once in a while and 'adjust' his buttons and knobs on his lawn mower. It was so cute! So here are some pictures of my two boys doing some lawn mowing!!
