Tired Boy

Cole has had a really hard time since we took his binky away...I thought it would get better after a while, but it's just gotten longer and louder! He pretty much just screams through the entire nap time...about 3-4 hours...then is so exhausted at night he only cries for an hour or so before he crashes. He used to be the easiest kid and would say 'wuh woo' (love you) and 'ni ni' (night night) when we layed him down and would go right to sleep with out a sound. We have totally done a 180 and he's a little monster at bedtimes now! We tried giving him back a binkie thinking maybe he just wasn't quite ready to give it up yet....and we got him a new one that wasn't 'broken' but he will not even look at it. He despises those things now and won't even try it long enough to realize it's not broken like his other ones were. So there's no going back. I just hope this doesn't last forever. My sweet little boy is a night mare right now!

Anyway, after church the other day we came home and had lunch, then had to run to bishop interviews...so naps were kind of ruined that day. Church is from 11-2, then we had our thing at 3...so not really time to squeeze a nap in. So after we got back we put a movie on for the kids to just relax for a while since they didn't get naps. We put them up on our bed with the portable DVD player and Ry took pictures of them because they both looked stoned and so so tired! Then 5 minutes later we checked on them, and Cole had completely passed out, half hangin' off the edge of the bed! It was so funny! I guess all I need to do now is put a movie on for him to put him to sleep! Anyway, the pictures are pretty cute so I had to share!

Oh, and just another funny tidbit, Malia decided to name our cars a few weeks ago. She always comes up with these totally crazy names for everything in her little made up language... so anyway, Ryan's car's name is now: Roosie, and my car's name is: Passy Cassy Tusha. Just FYI.
