I have just started a new 'job' and I am very excited but also very nervous about it. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision and not anything I was really planning on doing, but too late now!
I have hosted a couple of Lia Sophia parties at my house and have loved them, but I went to a friend's house who was having a party also, and the lady who was doing the party talked to me about signing up to sell it myself. She explained to me that if I would have signed up at my first party I would have already made like $600 in cash plus a ton of more free jewelry on top of that. So she convinced me to try it! It was free for me to sign up and I get a bunch more jewelry free for signing up...plus at MY first show, I made over $200 and got close to $800 in more jewelry. Not too bad for just having to send a few emails and make cinnamon rolls for a desert. That was all I did! Even if I only do one show a month it is still an extra $200 a month so I can afford to put Malia in dance lessons or whatever. Just so we won't be so tight or so I can have a little extra spending money that I won't get in trouble for!
Anyway, I am very excited and I just have to share a couple of the reasons I love their jewelry and the company. First of all, they have the BEST hostess gifts. Just for having a party, no matter if a single person shows up or not, you get a free piece of jewelry. Then of course you get more free jewelry depending on the sales. But that's why I hosted so many parties...so I could get more free stuff!
Lia Sophia jewelry is a little more pricey than jewelry you buy at Walmart or at the mall or whatever...but they are so much better quality. They have a Lifetime replacement guarantee...which I have used a few times already. They will replace anything at anytime for any reason. No matter if your kid grabs your necklace and yanks too hard or if you lean over the sink to do dishes and stand up catching your necklace on the faucet and breaking it off (both of which I have done) they will replace it for you. Or if you just decide you don't like it anymore after wearing it for 10 years...you can return it for something else. They are amazing! They are also not cheap jewelry that you buy anywhere else...it's all 14K or higher, made with surgical stainless steal and dipped in the same Rhodium (I think is what it's called) that white gold wedding rings are dipped in. There is NO plastic in any of their jewelry and is all hand crafted.
Sorry about the huge sales pitch...that's not what I meant to do! I am just very excited about this new opportunity and wanted to share my excitement with people! But if anyone does want to have a party for me and get some free jewelry...I'm your woman! (wink wink!!)
Wish me luck! I'm going to have to get over my stage fright pretty quickly here too in order to do my shows! This is going to be pretty challenging too!

Okay Jen, I've been in my own little world for a VERY long time now. I've never heard of it (or at least I don't think I have!). Do you have any pics of the jewelry they have???
Congrats on the new job! I'm sure you will do great! Especially if you are already bringing in the dough!!
I'm glad you're liking it! Sorry I haven't been able to come to any of the shows yet - but if you want you can still get me something free just for being such an awesome sister-in-law! Ha ha, just kidding. Glad everything's going good though!
That's exciting for you! I might even have to start wearing jewelry. :)
How fun! Sorry I've never come to one of these. I know you have invited me every time. I think I just may have to check out what jewelry they have now. :)
good luck. Direct selling can be tough but you can make money if you are dilligent. Jana has been to a few of those parties and agrees that the quality of the jewlery is great.
Sounds like fun! I wish I live closer. :( Best of luck to you as a saleswoman.
I've been thinking of hosting a party since I went to your party several weeks ago. I like the special for July, so we might need to set one up! I have a long list of jewelry that I want and figure that's the best way to get some of it.
