The work begins...
We've finally closed (last week) on our house and got our keys...so now the work begins! We've started pulling up carpet and all the prep work for painting and we've got our new carpet ready to go in as soon as we're ready with all of the painting. There is a lot of work and Ryan is doing a great job with his limited time to work on it - just at nights after work and weekends. Both of our dad's have been helping too which has been awesome. We're hoping to get all the prep stuff done in about 2-3 weeks so we can have the carpet put in and then we can move in!! I can't wait! Then I'll be needing some help in the decorating department! It's definitely not my thing and I want my new house to be cute! So any tips would be great!! I am also trying to find some window seat cushions or padding so I can make a cushion for window seats in the kids rooms so if anyone knows how or where to get some ideas, etc let me know!

Congrats!! I'm sure you will find some great ideas to decorate. It is always so much fun to start out new again!
Huge congrats on the sealing the deal. You guys are gonna be stoked on that for sure. Put some palm trees outside and it will be all good ha
I am so happy and excited you finally have a house, that is awesome! We will have to come by and visit when you are all moved in! I have no doubt you will decorate it super cute, your apartment was way cute too, you did a good job with the limited space you had so your house will be no problem for you! You just need to go to Swiss days again this year and you will have more than enough to decorate ;)
We are so excited for you. Carson and I need to come up and see the new house. Dave and I are actually looking at houses. We have found 2 more houses on Lotus! There are a lot for sale. We really like that neighborhood. My sister lives on Ticklegrass and Foxflower Court. It's the blue house on the west side right on the corner. If you ever need a shopping partner to any decorating stores, just call!
