Fun facts about my kids...

My friend Katy did this for her girls and I thought it would be fun too...so here are some fun facts about each of my kids.

My little Princess...Malia Baumann

* She is very smart and amazes me every day at things she remembers, even from things over a year ago. * She is a social butterfly. She loves other kids - no matter if they are older, younger, or her own age.

* Has beautiful naturally curly hair - sometiemes she'll let me straighten it, which I love, but lately she always wants 'piggies' (pig tails) or won't let me do it at all.

* Loves to gives hugs and kisses to her brother - but hasn't quite figured out that when he starts crying or turning red, that he doesn't like it and can't breathe

* Is a VERY picky and light eater and always has been. Fruit is like candy to her and we usually have to bribe her with a strawberry or grapes to take a bite of her food.

* Loves her Princess movies, books, dressup shoes...pretty much any princess stuff she likes. She's already started asking for a Princess birthday cake for her birthday in June

* Has the most addicting and contagious laugh. It is one of my favorite sounds in the world!

* Is very independent and always wants to do things 'by myself'

* She loves to read - she has a couple of her favorite books memorized and will read them to us now instead, like her Snow White book.

* Her favorite game has always been to be chased - especially by her daddy and all of her crazy uncles!

* Is still the ONLY girl in the family and she will be tough little chick after putting up with all the teasing from the boys! Can't wait till Mary has cute little Ali so Malia will have someone to play Barbies with.

* She is the sweetest little princess and I love her giant bear hugs and her cute little kisses, especially when she puckers her lips up and blinks her eyes fast while looking up at the ceiling just like the princesses do in her movies!

Cole Ryan Baumann

* He is the calmest, most easy going kid in the world. Such an easy baby...thank goodness!

* He has the cutest little smile, and he smiles so easily at anyone and everyone

* This kid eats more than I do. He is such a chunky boy...complete opposite of Malia! He is our little garbage disposal!

*Always has his mouth open...waiting for more food maybe?

* Has invented the 'baby power naps' - he takes 2, sometimes 3 naps a day right now...but each one lasts only 15-20 minutes! For being only 7 months old....he isn't getting anywhere near the 15-17 hrs of sleep per day that doctors say they need at this age. But he just wakes up kicking and smiling! It just drives me crazy because I don't get a break!
* He is starting to learn how to throw tantrums...he will arch his back so much he is almost doing a back bend. He will be up on his head and his heels with the rest of his body arched up...then he rolls over and smiles at you! His tantrums don't last too long - and we just laugh at him anyway!

* He loves watching his big sister play...and loves to pull her pretty hair!

* Is very content and will sit and play by himself for long periods of time without complaining. Very nice when I am trying to get dinner ready, etc.

* Likes to cuddle with mommy...daddy has tried, but it doesn't work so well with him! I love it...I will cuddly with him any day!

* Loves to sing 'Little Turtle' song with me, and laughs every time we do the 'hiccup' part at the end.

* He has been slower learning to roll over...because he was just so content laying there, but now he is all over the place. I'm sure as soon as he learns to crawl he will be able to keep up with Malia more...and probably trample over her - since he just about weighs as much as she does! And for a little payback that she's got coming to her!

Well, there are a few little things about my cute kiddies. They drive me crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't change it for the world! I couldn't ask for anything better and I love them so much!
