Princess Festival & Lagoon

I'm finally putting up the pics from the Princess festival this year...Malia loved it but I personally didn't think the story was as good this year as last year. This one was a little more confusing for the little girls to understand and used names and people that no one had ever heard of, rather than just the main Princesses. But Malia still had fun and I'm sure we'll still be there next year too.

Anyway, we went to Lagoon right after the Princess Festival (and then later to a Real soccer game...very busy day with a lot of running around!!) and the kids had a blast! The first couple rides I thought Malia was going to have a rough day cuz she was crying about one thing or another after each ride...but after a few they both decided to have fun I guess and Malia started enjoying herself and Cole started giggling and smiling on the rides! Malia is barely tall enough to go on some of the bigger kid rides ...she went on the lady bug one that drops and I thought she'd freak out and panic but she loved it! It was great and I was so proud of her! Cole was exhausted and crashed when we sat down to eat lunch...he picked up his food and didn't even make one bite to his mouth before he was limp and asleep in my lap! I wish we'd had more time to let the kids go one more rides because they were loving it!
Oh, and Ryan will have a fun story to share about his Lagoon experience!! While Cole was asleep he let me go on a couple 'adult' rides with Jana & Tyler...we were getting on the ride and another girl that sat next to us told us there was a huge fight going on and pointed right down where Ry had just been with the kids and our friends. So as soon as we get off the ride we go over and we find out there was a huge chick fight and Ry and our friend Dave tried to jump in and break them up...Ry came away with a couple scratches...deep enough to draw a good amount of blood on his hand! I guess the group of girls just jumped out of the line and all of a sudden went at it right in front of where Ry was standing...oh and I am sooo glad that my 5 yr old daughter got to see that...she told me that 'there were girls fighting and not being nice and pulling hair'! Lagoon is so white-trash and ghetto now it's ridiculous. But it made for some good stories I guess!
