Cole loves to make messes...I guess it's part of being a boy. Lately while he's been eating breakfast, whenever he spills any milk on the table, he will smear it around with his spoon till it's not as noticable, then keep on eating. Now he's figured out how to 'cover it up' with his bowl, then he'll look at me and say 'all better mommy!' Cuz it's gone and you can't see it any more, right? He's hilarious. I love this kid!
Malia has been asking for a pet for a while now too...even though she is afraid of them! She was on a bird kick for a while and wanted to catch a bird outside and put it in our house so it couldn't get away and it would be our pet...Then the other day she said she wanted a butterfly! And she got this wonderful idea to catch a butterfly and then she could give it to Ryan for his birthday! Awesome! happy birthday hunny...here's your butterfly! But malia was so cute and her face totally lit up like it was the best idea in the world! So Ry, at least pretend that it's all you've ever wanted! =) And I'm going to have to figure out some way to 'catch' a butterfly for Malia to wrap up for Ry's birthday next month!
Oh, and does anyone have some fun/cute ideas for Valentines? I want to do something fun for the kids - and Ryan - so if you have any fun ideas let me know!

lol. too funny!! You should see if you could get a cocoon ... however that's spelled... or even a caterpiller and watch it grow into a butterfly! have Malia help feed it leaves and all! If the butterfly doesn't make it, you'll know not to get a puppy! haha. ;)
... I saw on Jon & Kate plus 8 one time that they made heart shaped pancakes with strawberry syrup for breakfast. I'm thinking of doing that one... if you get any other good ideas let me know!! lol.
