I'm sure some of you have already seen Cole walking now...but a lot haven't yet. So I finally got a little video of him walking (and falling...) for everyone to see! Sorry about the horrible quality...this is just from our digital camera so it's not the best video.
Anyway, Cole started REALLY walking about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks ago. He's been taking a lot of steps for over a month, but he really picked it up these last few weeks. But he is so shy that whenever we were around other people, even grandparents, he would NOT walk. He tucks his chin down to his chest and buries his head and plops down to the ground, or won't stand up at all. He is so funny. And if he noticed anyone watching him while he was starting to walk, he would purposely just sit down and hide his face. It was really funny! But now I guess he is comfortable enough with it that he does it in front of others now! But it was frustrating when I'd tell people he was walking and he would just plop down and not take a step when they were watching! I promise he can!! So now I have video for proof!

YES!! Mia is starting to stand up by herself but hasnt taken any steps by herself yet. I really want her to walk by her first birthday so she can run around at her party..so we'll see if she does. He is so cute and I know exactly what you mean when they don't want to show there tricks to anyone else. Babies are so tricky

Way to go Cole! He's doing really well. I can't believe how steady he is on his feet.
